GroupMiles is an online software application that manages motorcycle groups and clubs by storing rider information, group riding events, and each rider’s mileage earned with the group. It will also allow riders to meet other riders and learn about local clubs and groups.
We have created an easy-to-use software application called GroupMiles(tm) that makes it quick and easy to track events, and individual rider’s mileage achievements.
As a Ride Captain and former Safety Officer for the Southern Cruisers Riding Club over the last 15+ years, I've been involved on the "back end" of running and maintaining a motorcycle group.
One of the most tedious jobs in the club was to track our member's mileage with the club, and recognize them when we hit milestones at our quarterly "Chapter Night" meetings. We recognize a rider's first 1000 miles, 2500, 5000, etc. Accomplishments and recognition are important to all club members.
My club is a pretty good sized club - over 400 registered riders, and we always have big weekend rides, and it was always a "lot of record-keeping" to track everyone's miles. Hours each week wasted.
When I found out that they were doing this with paper and spreadsheets, as a software developer, I knew there was definitely a better way.
Palm Beach Software Design (also my company) created the first version of the GroupMiles software over 10 years ago. We are now on Version 3, which brings all of our information securely to the cloud! Click below to learn more - I know this software will help your club, too.
“The GroupMiles software saved us countless hours each month, and made it really easy to print Mileage Certificates of Achievements when we recognize club member participation.”
